The Shop
Built for Riders. By Riders.
Shred & Surf Shop exists because the action sports gear market has a problem: too much choice, most of it mediocre, sold by people who've never stood on a board in their lives. Walk into most outdoor retailers and you'll find gear ranked by margin, not performance.
We built a different kind of shop. One that stocks less but stocks it better. Every board, every wax formula, every surf accessory on this site was chosen the same way a rider chooses gear for their own quiver: does it do what it claims, in the conditions you're actually in?
The result is a leaner catalog with higher signal. When something is on this site, it's because someone who rides had a reason to put it there.

Surf accessories for people who take the water seriously. Leashes, fins, traction pads, bags, and more — selected for surfers who want gear that holds up and doesn't get in the way of actually surfing.

The Curation Process
Ride It First
Gear doesn't get listed until someone has ridden it. No press releases. No spec-sheet guessing.
Cut the Filler
If it doesn't perform better than what riders already have, it doesn't earn shelf space. We'd rather have fewer great options.
Write Honestly
Product copy tells you what the gear is actually like to use — not marketing copy pasted from a brand sheet.
Update the Range
Gear evolves, and so does the shop. If something better comes along, it replaces what's already there.
