Surf Accessories

Leashes, fins, traction pads, and bags — chosen because they work in the water, not because they look good on a shelf.

Surf Accessories That
Actually Do Something

We carry the accessories that affect how you surf, not the ones that look good on a shop floor. Leashes, fins, traction pads, bags, and more — all selected because they hold up in real conditions and don't get in the way of actually riding waves.

The rule: If it's on this page, someone tested it in the water. If it failed or felt underwhelming, it didn't make the cut. Simple.

What We Carry

The Surf Range

Leashes

Safety + Control

A leash is the one piece of surf gear that keeps your board attached to you when things go sideways. We carry options matched to board length and surf size — from small-day ankle leashes to heavier cord designed for overhead surf. Strength, drag, and coil options are all in the range.

Key considerations when choosing: board length, typical wave size, and whether you prefer a straight or coiled cord (coiled works well for shortboards; straight is standard for longboards and SUPs).

Fins

Drive + Feel

Fins are one of the cheapest ways to change how your board rides. Stiffer fins = more drive and speed. More flexible = looser feel and easier turns. We carry options across the main systems — FCS II and Futures — and cover the main fin setups: thrusters, twins, quads, and singles.

New to fin swapping: start with a thruster set matched to your board size and body weight. The difference between a glass fiber and a full carbon set is real — both options are in the range.

Traction Pads

Grip + Stance

A rear traction pad does two things: gives your back foot grip for turns and pop, and positions your foot in the right place every time. We carry pads with varying kick heights and arch shapes — lower kick for cruisier surfing, higher kick for hard turns and airs.

Deck grip wax and traction pads serve different purposes. Pads are permanent (and grip harder); wax is flexible and can be reapplied. Many surfers use a pad at the rear and wax across the rest of the deck.

Board Bags

Protection + Travel

Board bags protect your investment between sessions and in transit. We carry day bags (lightweight, easy to carry to the beach) and travel bags (padded, designed for airline travel). Sizes are matched to board length — shortboard, mid-length, and longboard options in the range.

If you're flying with a board regularly, a padded travel bag is worth it. The foam protects against dings from baggage handling in a way a standard sock bag simply can't.
